Huddersfield Control on permissive goods lines 28/12/2020 at 16:40 #135478

A few simulations (Derby and Carlisle to name two I've checked), feature goods lines which are permissive for several sections. However, they also appear to be fitted with Huddersfield control (i.e. no calling-on a train into the section with a route set from the signal at the other end).

Is this correct? It does seem to defeat the object of making the lines permissive by significantly reducing the number of opportunities to use the facility. Additionally, where automatic call-ons are provided, there doesn't appear to be any check on whether a route is set into the section in rear, or from the end of the section in advance.
