While just playing some gentle SimSig last night, I got thinking about the smaller (and sometimes longer) stretches of the railway that'd "link" existing sims up. Those such as: The Harrogate - Poppleton Line which would connect the York & Leeds sims, and has a nice mix of crossings; single line working; Absolute Block; TCB and Plenty of Semephores & Colourlights and might be a nice little sim with an hourly service. The "Hadrians Wall Line" Connecting Carlisle PSB & Newcastle (Tyneside IECC) This would be similar to Hereford I presume, a long sim with lots of mini AB Boxes, though it has some variety at Metro Centre/Hexham. Similarly, The S&C would be another fun sim, with Crossings; semaphores Absolute Block; Single Lines and more, and would connect Carlisle PSB & Leeds Ardsley, and day to day sees a mix in freight & passenger traffic are these kind of sims hard to make, or do they just not have the demand to be made? because all 3 listed above would be instant purchases to me, as they allow a nice area to be chained plus a good mix of signalling and traffic generally? Not asking when etc they can be made but just curious whether they'd be considered at any point? I don't think there's anything that would make them inherently harder to develop. There are a number of simulations released which fit the 'feel' you're after (I'd say the recently released Wigan Wallgate qualifies); it's just a matter of which areas get picked first. And of course, at the opposite end of the scale there are other people for whom a Crewe or Doncaster simulation would be an instant purchase! (The former has been confirmed as in development) Quote: The "Hadrians Wall Line" Connecting Carlisle PSB & Newcastle (Tyneside IECC) This would be similar to Hereford I presume, a long sim with lots of mini AB Boxes, though it has some variety at Metro Centre/Hexham.For clarity, Metro Centre is controlled by Tyneside IECC; any future 'Hadrian's Wall Line' sim would cover Wetheral- Blaydon inclusive (unless the developer wanted to split it for some reason). Ah okay, guess its mostly a 2 track ml with AB so not too hard as you say provided with the data. and yeah, Wigan is being purchased with the next paycheck! yes! haha I'm a little excited for Crewe & Doncaster Alike (I'm Chester based and commuted to Crewe) so Crewe is also on the main wishlist too! and is it? ohhhhh haha didn't know that! still a nice section of line though! If we are going down the route of these style of sims, I'd just throw the North of Scotland into the mix... Stanley / Aberdeen - Inverness - depending on era, either lots of STB (Scottish Tokenless Block) or an eclectic mix of STB, WestCAD and NX... (and not forgetting good old AB between Dalwhinnie and Blair Atholl)

In the same direction, I'd also suggest the reminder of south-west England/Cornwall (from Plymouth to Penzance - both of which are by themselves already simulated but the link is missing, of course: this would allow chaining about 250 miles from Penzance to Reading (with the 50 remaining to Paddington missing))
