Now for a bit of light-hearted entertainment: guess the signallers at Marylebone today picked the "One of those days" option...

I do wonder, though, how many people are affected by these delays, with lockdown and "work from home" having drastically reduced passenger numbers, I would assume.

Apparently, per the Chiltern twitter, even worse: trespassers which required blocking the line in both directions (though the picture was taken, I guess, shortly after the situation had been resolved, hence the green signals)

Which explains why 1H53 departed High Wycombe 45 late according to RTT.

I'm surprised they didn't try and keep at least some of the trains in platforms rather than letting them all queue up behind each other signal to signal.

That reminds me of those video 'dramatisations' that can be found on youtube and they always seem to involve southeastern (well, close enough - example, this one)

Assuming that wasn't the case before the trains started moving.

Yesterday afternoon/evening certainly would've made a good playable scenario. Lots of different events in succession.

Well, it depends on where you live during the lockdown. I bet it reduced the passenger numbers in London drastically but if you are living in Greece like me whether with lockdown or not there is no much difference. Some people still have to go to work and the railways are still as crowded as it used to be. Even though it's just 2 stops from my work to my flat in Greece sometimes I prefer going by bus because of the crowd.
