hi again
i have two services joining and going out as 3rd, i have them both joining great but the last one still shows up as its service
2G72 + 5G70 going out as 2R00
train list just shows 2R00 which is fine but the screen still shows 5G70 so i end up with
2R00 5G70

any ideas ?

Hi Jason.

What Sim and TT are you playing on?

Right click on 5G70, and click "Cancel". This is a regular procedure that occurs when two trains join.

On some simulations, you don't need to cancel the TD (that's what the blue thing is called) yourself, but it'll get cancelled automatically when the train departs.

Without a saved game (.SSG) file I can only guess this is a simulation with ACI.

In which case, this is normal behaviour, only the headcode nearest the station throat will be a departing TD, the one at the buffer end will be a (usually the last train) to have entered.

"Queued" TD's behind the first one to exit are normally stored in a display next to the station itself.

Thanks
Jamie

That usually means that there's a problem with 5G70's schedule, or further back in any trains that go on to form 5G70 (if there are any). Check if an error is listed against 5G70 and fix that first.

Each platform in NS only has one berth. The ACI has stepped your train up after the join, assuming 5G70 was on the other platform, you'd just cancel that TD.

"Joining train got lost" means that both trains have further activities after the join. However, only one of them will actually exist after joining, so the activities of the other train "get lost", ie are never performed.
