How do I set a signal from CE316 to CE334? 13/07/2021 at 17:54 #140554 | |

Afternoon! I'm playing one of the 80's timetalbe of Carlisle. I have a train on SC, and want to move this to UM LOS. I try to set a signal from CE316 to CE334, but I just get the message: "Preset signal already working in preset mode". Is there any trick on how to set this signal? I can set a route from CE315 to CE334 without any issue. Thanks! - Stig Log in to reply |

Is the tail of another train still occupying the track circuit right after CE334?

I think I've stumbled on the same issue: When setting a route from CE295 to SC (and also to SB) the shunt signal at the other end of the siding clears too, as you can see in the first screenshot. Then when the train arrives CE316 goes back to red but the sim refuses to set the route to CE334 giving the message "Preset signal already working in preset mode" as in the second screenshot. I can reproduce it in a fresh start but tell me if you need a save game, I've attached the timetable I've used to test it. These are the details: OS: Windows 10 Enterprise 64bit Loader: SimSig Loader version 5.16; Sim: Simulation Carlisle; data version 4.3 License: TT: Test_SC v0.0.0 TT filename: Test_SC.WTT TT merged: False Sim upgrade: False Loader upgrade: False Save reloaded: False NTY active at start NTOR active at start N1980 active at start NNOPROBS active at start NUPPERBY choice 1 NKINGMOR choice 2 NPROBLEMS active at start NONE active at start Post has attachments. A save game with the TT in flow would be advantageous. Thanks How to report an issue: www.SimSig.co.uk/Wiki/Show?page=usertrack:reportanissue Log in to reply |

I've attached two saves corresponding to the screenshots above: The first has the route to SC set and CE316 showing clear without any route set from it, In the second the train is in SC and the sim is refusing to set the route from CE316 to CE334. This appears to be a Loader issue and it's affecting other simulations- see this thread: https://www.SimSig.co.uk/Forum/ThreadView/53266 Mantis 34612 raised. This was a bug in the latest loader at the time. The loader has since been updated to fix it.

Unfortunately yes, you would have to start your session again as it was a core code fix.
