I'm playing the 1991 timetable and have a train (0K91) at signal No.MF5 in the Down siding complex. This isn't shown on the signal number plan and although I have played this timetable before, I can't for the life of me remember where it is and at the moment I've actually lost the plot :/ Attached is a screenshot of 0K91's tt if that helps and thanks in advance. ..... You need to open the Milford Down Sidings ground frame and "clear" the handsignal after setting the points. However, I see no signal 5 on the frame, only points 5, so I'm not sure whether your train is in siding 1 or 2-4.

Thanks for the replies guys but neither actually answers my question. I've read the manual and have used the lever frame several times up to now although sometimes with a bit of "trial & error" in the end. But is there a signal with the number MF5? If so, which one is it cos I don't know and I'm getting grief from the driver because I can't fathom out what to do to get him moving I think that perhaps I'll go back to an earlier save and try something different. MF is not an existing box prefix on the signal number plan, these are "signals" that are used to implement hand signalled commands. You should see in your message box that the train entered from sidings 2-4 if it's there; if it's in siding 1, it will have been put or seeded there before because siding 1 is not an entry/exit point. MF5 is effectively the hand signal at the exit from Dn Sdgs 2-4 corresponding to No.8 on the ground frame plan tick boxes. For reference: MF1 is No.3 on the ground frame plan MF2 is No.2 ditto MF4 is No.4 ditto As ever, a saved game would greatly speed the process. In Zone 6, no one can hear you scream... Now I can go back to an earlier save and see how I get on. I don't really see that a 'saved game' is really necessary at this stage but if I get tied up in knots again I'll more than likely provide one so that people can see what I've done wrong. However, I hope that this won't happen Everything that you make will be useful - providing it's made of chocolate. Log in to reply |
