I know I haven't been around much recently and haven't played much either. I thought id share a nice experience I had playing SimSig in VR straight out of the box. Its not the most efficient but it was sure fun and hopefully inspires people. Post has attachments. Log in to view them. Sorry if this is an obvious question, but what is the perceived benefit of this?

The theoretical benefit would be fitting an entire sim into a virtual large monitor so you can simply look around to see each part rather than scrolling.

Not something I would do myself but looks an interesting way of doing things. Dave Log in to reply The following user said thank you: sunocske |

I'd be interested to know how costly this setup would be. Probably beyond what I can fit into my little wallet.

That would be...less costly, and would takes much less space than an ultra-wide monitor, or a wall of several smaller ones. At least. Should be possible to throw in a 360-deg panorama from the insides of (say) Derby PSB and maybe a few generic, sketched-up props too, though the former of those might be a bit difficult to obtain.
