Hello. There seems to be a few bugs at Didcot West End with run rounds to and from Didcot Power Station. In the save attached, we have 0D02 saying "Train 4D02 in front", even though that is the train it is supposed to be joining! I had a similar problem earlier on with the original train "blocking the way" of the run round loco. Any ideas?

From the F2 list 0D02 thinks it is still at Foxhall Jn so it is not yet expecting to join 4D02 Maybe you sent it somewhere off route while running round ? Maybe even at the wrong end ? If you manually tell it is at 'Didcot West End' it will join. F2 - right click TD - timetable options, edit timetable - click bottom 'Didcot West End' and 'set as current location' - OK Bill Log in to reply The following user said thank you: marychristmaseverybody |

There's definitely something up with a couple of those run-rounds, where they detach but then are facing the wrong direction. I used to play SwinDid heaps and ran into this quite a bit a few years ago. From memory, all you have to do is reverse direction of the light engine move, after it has the signal, and it will do what you need Log in to reply The following user said thank you: TUT |

I assume you routed it some other way, but how did you reverse it? SimSig Boss Log in to reply |

Can confirm that with a 'hands off let ARS do its thing' 0D02 runs round and joins 4D02 OK. Flabberdacks - Checked the rest of the 4Dxx trains in from Didcot PS and all are loco DF in this timetable. Were you running into problems with a different timetable ? Log in to reply |

A great reason to revisit the sim after so long. Will report back.

Well, no trouble after the first couple of run-rounds. Perhaps the problem has been fixed since I last played. Very good!

Yeah I think I may have reversed it on the up main by accident because of congestion in the area at the time.
