An up train scheduled to call at Kentish Town won't question being routed onto the up fast at Carlton Junction. It does stop at Kentish Town as scheduled, even though there isn't a platform on the up fast.

Do you have any more specifics as to what train it was? could you provide a save file to make it easier to run through the issue. Was the train booked for St Pancras HL or LL?

EDIT Additional:

I've ran trains booked to exit at Blackfriars via the UP fast from both signals 212, 214 and 14 and they have challenged the route. So defo a wee bit more info needed or a save from your session

Example created - may not be how the OP did it of course....

Loophole here is the route US-UF via sig 212.

Wrong route call is correctly activated at sig 14 in 2009 and 2005 eras

Sorry - should have been more clear.

This happened in the 1990's era and was a late-night stopping service from Bedford to St Pancras HL. It was scheduled to call at Kentish Town before terminating at St Pancras, but I accidentally routed it onto the fast line at Carlton Junction. It did not question the route, and made a short stop on the fast line at Kentish Town, as if there was a platform there.

The train was signalled from the US to the UF via signals 214 and 212 at Carlton Jnc.
