[Beginner mode] I have delivered 4D85 to Rec 1 at Stourton [stopped at Signal 4489]. I don't know what to do after that. If I have to operate the Hunslet Ground Frame, I'm not sure where it should be routed from Rec1 and what the lever sequence should be. I've clicked on the 'F' roundel, but none of the levers seem to want to move! Help would be gratefully appreciated.

I think (And it's been a long time) pull lever 1, pull lever 2, pull lever 3, replace lever 2, pull lever 10, pull lever 11, pull lever 4.

Then reverse the sequence to put the ground frame back to normal.

Thanks for the info on the lever sequence. I should have also stated that the Train List shows 4D85 "Stopped at signal 4489". I tried using the suggested lever sequence but I ended up with the driver complaining that he was held at signal 4989. Looking at the main track screen, I can't see a relationship withe lever frame diagram and the main track display which appears to show two prongs downward either side of the letters FHH and whether these prongs represent the destination FHH, and if this is the case - how to set the levers on the frame! If the destination "FHH" is something else, then I am at a complete loss as to what I should be doing.

As an aside, I should mention that I very occasionally helped out on the Middleton Railway when I was a student at Leeds University in 1962. There were two engineering firms there for which the Middleton Railway had to handle deliveries and dispatches from and to the BR main line. During the 80's I had an office in BT's computer centre which overlooked part of the Middleton Railway (the old tramway section).

Evening in reality the Ground frame that was at Hunslet is disconnected and all trains arriving and that are destined for Hunslet Yard arrive on Reception No2 and they proceed up to 4489 signal and this is cleared and once clear of the points they are set back into the sidings. All the points are hand operated and it is the same procedure for trains leaving Hunslet Sidings if they they are going north then jobs a good un. You ring the train out to the Leeds East Signalman and he will clear 4489 for the train to depart and away it goes. If it is to depart South Bound depending on the time the train would be split in 2 on the siding it was stood in and made up in 2 bits and the loco chop off run towards engine shed an then come back along Reception No1 to Stourton SDS or A&D Roads and then drop back onto Reception No2 blow the wagons up brake test and away! If you had the right guys on the Leeds East Workstation you do a big shunt with the full set of 19 to 21 wagons back em into the No2 reception run the loco round as before and away. Friday nights and Saturday Mornings and Sunday nights into the small hours of Monday morning could be manic at Hunslet Yard. For all the TT periods on the Leeds Sim the GF is not in use I not even sure if it is still in situ anymore.

4D85 to be routed to S919 and then from S919 to DS1 (using the grey arrow). You'll see that the train will drop off from the sim as it arrives into FHH.
