So Playing some Manchester East, and got a freight looped in P4 at Stalybridge, with trains overtaking in P3, but the first train (1K59) went through normally, with flashing yellow at SE7031 into the platform but 9E05, got a flashing yellow at SE7031 then the home (SE7033) is flashing between red and yellow! Signal SE7033 drops to a steady yellow after 9E05 passes SE7031 Save attached for the moment I noticed! TIA! Post has attachments. Log in to view them. I can see from the save Elliot that the flashing r/y is happening. But on a fresh run of the sim, I can't reproduce it. I'll try a few more times.

There are a few more reports of signals flashing red/yellow, for instance: Here it happened because a saved game from an older sim version was loaded: https://www.SimSig.co.uk/Forum/ThreadView/52964 Here, a failed signal triggers approach control: https://www.SimSig.co.uk/Forum/ThreadView/52766 Is there perhaps a failure of some aspects on signal 7045? Not awake enough to do any digging yet, however, did you have a route set and signal clear at Signal 7045 for one train and not the other?

IIRC it may have been yeah as 1K59 may have just left the platform and the signal may still have been set (though displaying Red as 1K59 had cleared the points). Which could be a cause (There will be a delay in me replying as I go on a 10-day camping holiday tomorrow without internet! So I'll respond to any messages once I return ) Resident Mock Maker! / "The Out Of Control Host" Log in to reply |
