I've just had 12 Down trains caught by two track circuit failures at Thorne Jn. Good job that my failure length weren't set any higher otherwise there would have been quite a few more.
I kept getting phone calls from the same drivers because my only option was to tell the to phone back in 15 minutes.

It's a pity that there isn't an option to tell them to wait for a phone call from me, or at least for me to tell them to wait for maybe 30 minutes.

Still, it was all good fun sorting it out, but before I did, I got another track circuit failure in the same place as one of the previous ones totally blocking the Goole route apart from the Down slow!

Edit: I have noted that the failures are set quite high on start-up. I'm very tempted to leave them on those settings instead of reducing the rates to see how I get on

Everything that you make will be useful - providing it's made of chocolate.

Drivers will quite often be told my signallers in real life to wait for a call back. It happened to me a few weeks ago when I was waiting at the start of an Emergency Special Working section. And although signallers have asked me to call them back after a specified period of time, I've never been told continually to "call back in 15 minutes"

This will surely need a new chaining sim 'Sim Curry House'

When the driver is asked to wait over 30 minutes for a call back, the chained 'Sim Curry house' gives a random delay for 'Awaiting Vindaloo before proceeding' when called back.

It could also be invoked for 'await booked departure'. As it is, even if told 'await booked departure' the train moves ASAP if the signal is cleared.

Maybe too near real life .....

:-)
