There's around three weeks till out first meet since the world shutdown. More information on that in this thread. We're going to be playing a new simulation, and to allow as many as possible to have a go, we'll run as many seperate games as we have people and laptops for. If you were wavering over whether or not to bring a laptop, this might change your mind

Wish I had a laptop to bring. Wouldn't be easy to bring a desktop on the train.

In the past it has been the case that guesses are taken as to the sim to be used and the first correct guess wins a pint. Will that be the case again this time? I know, without any hesitation, what my guess will be though. Dave Log in to reply |

Given that the meet is at Mayfield, its clearly going to be a simulation of Manchester London Road power box, complete with DC lines from P1-4 out to ardwick and the fallowfield loop.

While the meet is within Manchester Mayfield area I suspect its either a sim controlled by the ROC eg Blackpool but that would make a nice solo player sim with plenty of eras. I would suspect Blackpool been added to Preston PSB Sim if it does appear again never say never!. Anyway I'm going with this location... York ROC 7 - Bradford Interchange with Hebden Bridge, Halifax with routes to Brighouse to join up the other sims for chain possibilities.

My guess for the main simulation would be Crewe. As for the bonus simulation (if there is one) I will take the plunge and take a guess that one of the ones withdrawn this year (or was it last?) might make a reappearance. Therefore, seeing as it is my home simulation, I will go with a revamped Bristol sim.
