I was playing the kx sim in singleplayer and I had multiple trackside failures and delays, so I didn't notice this until a while after it happened. In the train list view (the f2 menu), some trains state the title in the status column. The status is also reflected if I click on the specific train. It seems to cause the train to not move, despite the clear signal ahead. The train also does not call me, which is why it took me a while to notice the error. I cannot authorize the train through when the ahead signal is clear, as the sim says as such, claiming why should I pass at red when I'm not waiting at a red. Unfortunately, the train is waiting in front of a green instead! Therefore, as a last ditch effort, I cancelled the signal in front to a red, hoping that it would reset the status somehow, but this had no effect. Even after the approach locking, the train still claims to not be waiting at a red, so I cannot get it to move. The only pattern I can see between the two cases are that it stopped at the station, and then somehow got this error state. The affected trains are 2G35 stopped at Bowes Park and 2V29 stopped at Drayton Park I will attach two saves: the snapshot i have before the error and the most recent save i have after the error (in this case the next snapshot saved by the sim). The screenshot shows the train status error and the location, showing it stopped at green. Post has attachments. Log in to view them. Log in to reply |

First of all, to free the trains, use the shunt forward option in F2, that seems to get them going when this has happened elsewhere recently. Secondly, do you know if these two trains were delayed, you saved the game, then reloaded at a later point? Yes, it is very probable that this happened. They were certainly delayed, and I likely saved and reloaded. Thanks for the tip to get them moving again, will try the next time I load it up. Log in to reply |
