I've looked on Google with no luck and the closest I've got to a train service plan is from 1996 which sadly doesn't show what was operating in the early 2000s, does anyone know what the formations were of the various mail trains/TPOs that used Willesden PRDC please? I'm fine with the Class 325s but it's more the loco hauled stock where I'm struggling with getting the formations right. Log in to reply |

A search on Flickr for "Willesden TPO" brings up a number of photos of the various loco-hauled TPO workings and their formations, including various different locomotive traction. This particular photo from 1998 on the GEML at Ipswich mentions that the "Stock was 94425/94457/94441/94437" on that particular working - 1M29 - from Norwich to Willesden. You may be able to find other photos on Flickr which may help you. HTH. A list of Headcodes and origin/destination would probably help with this one rather than a general question as each train will have been different. Loco wise, Electrics were 86/4s and 90/0s. Diesels were 67s by that time. "We don't stop camborne wednesdays" Log in to reply |
