Hi, I have managed to get into a bit of a state. Just after I had released the BNE-MAI token and the driver had taken possession, I foolishly tried to collar the points indicator to protect Spade Oak LC, possibly whilst the points were in swing and managed to cause AcOA either by doing that or somehow managing to replace the indicator whilst right-clicking the reminder. Anyways, now the token is out, and the driver is requesting it again, I can't offer it or get driver to return it for cycling, so an impasse has been reached! (EDIT: Abandoned TT allowed train to depart after stopping at BE1 and granting authority) I don't have an immediate earlier save, only the auto-save 15 mins earlier and one taken just after the second attempt to withdraw token from the empty machine. Logs below. I suspect you did accidentally hit the cancel route control while trying to remove the reminder, as the only other mechanism available to the player to kill that route is to remove the train; and you didn't do that. I did try and anticipate these kinds of little gaps where players can break the very complicated logic behind the token system; alas you've inadvertently found a case I didn't account for so thank you. Once 2B29 gets off the branch having been authorised past BE1 the whole system should reboot itself so provided you don't do it again that will be the end of it. Mantis 38161 to close that gap in a future update and disable the cancel route control to prevent others from falling through the same gap. Log in to reply |

Thanks James, The state was cleared to normal when 2B29 reported arrival at Maidenhead with the token returned. Idiot-proof logic is no match for my special kind of idiocy Jamie S (JAMS) Last edited: 24/02/2023 at 08:44 by 9pN1SEAp Reason: None given Log in to reply |
