From Pinhoe to Honiton 11/08/2023 at 10:19 #152746

Dear all,

good day, I am a beginner at SimSig (and from Germany :-)) and struggle to understand how I can move trains from Exeter/Pinhoe to Honiton. Once I get the accept status, what signaling operations are required then?

Thanks so much for help,
Ignacio

Hi,

The dial is set to accept a train FROM Honiton, and the status says "Train On Line". You will need to press "Arrived" button if the line is now clear.

You then Offer the train to Honiton once the needle indicates Normal state.

Thanks
Jamie

The switch needs to be turned to 'Normal', then the 'Train Arrived (complete)' button pressed to clear the block to 'N'(ormal); then press the 'Offer' button which should get an Accept from Honiton after a short pause.

An 'Offer' can only be made with the switch and the Indicator both at Normal

I can only help one person a day. Today's not your day. Tomorrow doesn't look too good either.
