GeoffM in post 153866 said:We are pleased to announce the release of the Telford and Oxley simulation. This modern day simulation covers the Oxley carriage sidings and the line through Madeley Junction, Telford, and Wellington through towards Shrewsbury, controlled from the West Midlands Signalling Centre. This simulation fills the gap between the Shrewsbury simulation and the Wolverhampton simulation, enabling through running all the way from London Euston to Holyhead! User manualI've just updated my loader and fired up the new simulation with no timetable and I've found a slight graphical bug which should be easy enough for the developer to update. Under the Limit of Electrification which is next to No.2 Shunting Spur, there's a left over scribble from the previous betas of the simulation which has Oxley scribbled crudely as seen in the screenshot. I guess that this was just overlooked by the powers to be and will be sorted in the next update for the simulation even though it's literally just been released? Other than that, thank you to the powers to be for releasing this simulation. Post has attachments. Log in to view them. But why should I do that? Compared to previous releases, this one looks like a beta simulation and shouldn't in my view be there as it doesn't look like clean enough. Just replace the text with the nice neat font that is used as standard for all locations in both this simulation and others, issue resolved. It does look like a good simulation for a solo player but I don't think the text that I've highlighted should be there as and as such doesn't look right. I'm sorry you didn't like the design choice for labelling Oxley. We have to take into consideration users' individual needs and a standard size Oxley label got lost in the large size of the yard during testing. Using a stylised label helped those of us who are visually impaired to better see the label.

As a personal preference I would prefer to see the label stand out a little more, so maybe bold face? “In life, there is always someone out there, who won’t like you, for whatever reason, don’t let the insecurities in their lives affect yours.” – Rashida Rowe Last edited: 04/11/2023 at 09:33 by postal Reason: None given Log in to reply |

For what it is worth I like it as Well, in fact when I first saw it I thought that style would be nice on other Sims. Glyn Glyn Calvert ACIRO Last edited: 04/11/2023 at 09:35 by geswedey Reason: added "style" Log in to reply |
