I seem to have either done something wrong or haven't done something that I should have.

4E75 appears to stuck in Up siding 1 in the Up Decoy Yard.
What should I do about it?
.....

I've finally managed to get it moving in a northerly direction but I'm not sure what it's destination should be.

You need to authorise it to pass the stop board using the controls just to the right of the yard, to allow it to D1418. It then needs to reverse behind D231 or D1403, then you need to route it back into the Railport. Remember to set the handpoints to the Railport, again using the controls just to the right of the yard.

I've set the points in the Yard but assume that I have to wait for a phone call requesting authorisation to pass the Stop Board.

Click the appropriate red square to allow the train to pass the stop board.

I've had a telephone Call from 6E04 which is at "red signal UDYSTOP"
I'm afraid that I can't find this particular signal so any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

You have accidentally routed it into the Up Decoy SDG 2 instead of using the hand points to set a route into the Railport. Reversing the train has it shown at UDYSTOP2.

This is how the Decoy Shunter panel should look for setting a route towards Railport.

I have no idea where the Railport is and this is the second train that I've mistakenly sent a train to the Up Decoy Yard.

Hopefully, Dick will give me the answer in his response to my question in another post.

Looks like I'll be going back to a previous save so that I can sort this matter out.
6D04 entered the sim at 04:15 so that means going back to a save 2 hours ago 🙄

Removed by postal as the question has already been answered on another thread.

7M18 is in the down goods at Doncaster Station and is scheduled to go to Mexborough. Signal D290 is showing a green aspect yet the driver phones to say that it is red.
I have provided two saved games because this has happened twice, once either side of 08:10.
.....

If necessary, I can provide the technical Data from just after 08:10

You won't get to Mexborough that way from St Kath / Decoy North. Should've turned left at Bridge Junction onto the Sheffield Goods.

For reference, Mantis 39747 applies for trains bound for Mexborough/Hexthrope to challenge the route at signals D253/D255.

7M18 still refuses to move, even when you abandon the timetable.
What is the best coarse of action? Do I have to remove it?

Hi Bugsy,

I would hazard a guess that 7M18 is facing Dn rather than Up. You may have to reverse his direction.

Cheers
Craig

You're absolutely right. I hadn't noticed that because I thought that it would automatically change direction.

Thanks Craig

If it's loco-hauled you'll have to get staff lineside to supervise a propel back to the Decoy. Or if your driver signs the appropriate routes, go the long way via Gascoigne Wood and Moorthorpe via the Down Main through Doncaster station!

I'd run it round on the two way goods to avoid the propelling move which is unlikely to get authorised by route. NR don't normally authorise set backs if the train has passed the next signal beyond the junction where the error occured.

Before playing this timetable, I elected to have the level crossings enabled.

As it happens, there's only the one and that's at Rossington. However, about 30% of the time I forget to open it for the trains to pass 🙄 Next time that I play a Station sim, I'll leave them disabled.

I remember to lower the crossing in time most of the time but sometimes especially with non-stop UP trains I am sometimes a little late (despite the annunciator) as there isn't that much warning to avoid the train slowing.

Couple of queries -

1. Should 4E60 and 4N60 be alternatives?

2. Should 0D81 not be 0D51?

3. 4Q12 is missing a initial train type and is also missing from Donny Nth and Sheffield TTs.

4. 4E32, 4E62 & 6E84 need rules to prevent early re-entry from Belmont Sidings.

5. Do 4L78, 4N69 & 4N72 need crew changes added?

6. 1E47 needs a dwell time at RMT?

7. Do units reversing in Doncaster Carriage Sidings need a rule to prevent early re-entry? (5C22,5C24 etc.)

TIA to all the usual people.

In Zone 6, no one can hear you scream...

1E47 isn't loading/unloading Mail as the RMT had already closed by this time and been acquired by GBRF. Its more likely just for a crew change.

I would say so as it was normally a case of the same unit going back to Hull with no spare units, but will let John comment as this may be intentional.

1. There is a northbound liner that detaches in Doncaster once found this pair will be decisioned in a later update

Mantis 39865 applies

2. Yes - done. However Mantis 39792 & Mantis 39795 apply requiring a little more research

3. 4Q12 added to North, Sheffield is not fully compatible at the moment, Freight needs to be re-done with new decisions

4. Re-entry rules added

5. Not shown in CIF data as Crew change - NCR

6. Without having workings and crew change not shown in CIF 1M78 is CC at York and right away Willesden. I assume that after a PNB that the same driver would work back. No crew change shown in CIF throughout so it would make sense that a crew change would take place. Added

7.Re-entry rules applied

Mantis 39866 applies for original post

Changes as above will be in the next TT update

Passed the age to be doing 'Spoon Feeding' !!!

Can someone explain to me why there are several what look like light engine moves out of Up Decoy Yard Railport, but are actually trains and some quite lengthy?

0S10 Cl66 + 255m
0S08 Cl66 + 255m
0S75 Cl66 + 312m
0S74 Cl66 + 312m
0S08 Cl66 + 42m crane
& 0D10 is the only one that is actually a light engine.

Professionalism mean nothing around a bunch of Amateur wannabees!
