When I want to divert a train or turn one around, I manually reverse the train then select its next location for the reverse journey - in this example I'm using 2Y09 and reversing it at Rock Ferry instead of running it around the loop, so I click manually reverse once it has stopped at Rock Ferry and select its next location to be Bebington using the F2 train list, however it will not recognize it and will think it's carrying on along its normal route. If I select its next location to be Hooton it thinks its next location is Birkenhead Central on the return run. Just seems to get confused and doesn't work as it used to / should. For example, in this screenshot 2Y09 thought its next location was Green Lane. Post has attachments. Log in to view them. This seems to a common quirk not with just this sim. Editing the timetable from the F2 train list and setting the next location there seems to work better, on the Mersey the Run to Another always gets itself about 8 locations out of whack!! I had once noticed a similar problem on Hong Kong – I think it was something to do with auto-inserted timing points added by ARS, but not contained in the base timetable (Mantis 25858). Two million people attempt to use Birmingham's magnificent rail network every year, with just over a million of them managing to get further than Smethwick. Log in to reply |
