It authorises a train to depart either Roads 1/4 past the stop board, or for a train to depart the Cripple Siding, or Railport. For example when a train enters at Railport you first switch points RP to reverse, then click the RP box, it'll turn green to confirm a proceed authority will be given to the entering train. The train will then move up to the shunt signal underneath the word RAILPORT on the main diagram and can be signalled as normal into the shunt neck, onto the east slow line or onto the flyover, depending on what it needs to do next. Always make sure the points are correctly set for every move, before you authorise the move to begin.
