Apologies if this has been bought up in the past and already considered to be deemed not viable. Currently when writing a multi-day TT, in the TT window of the train in question there is a "Decision" & a "Choice" box. Would it possible to move the "Decision" box to the Misc tab and instead of having a "Choice" box where we currently have to type (for example) [not] MON or MON, having 5 tick boxes labelled MON/TUE/WED/THU/FRI (as there is a lot of dead space in the Misc tab)? Or would moving & changing it all around be a logistical nightmare? Thank you for time. When in doubt - Contingency plan 2A. Someone didn't buy the milk - 2A. Someone sneezed at Swansea - 2A. A driver complains the cab is too cold - 2A. Unable to operate a HEx service 4 vice 8 - 2A. Points failure at Ipswich - 2A. Landslip at Pitlochry - 2A Last edited: 07/08/2024 at 09:53 by officer dibble Reason: None given Log in to reply |

As a standard decision - suspect not. Decisions get used for lots of other things with other than 4/5/6/7 choices. However to have a standardised 'super-decision' available for DAYOFTHEWEEK could have several benefits. As you say simplicity for multi-day timetables. Allow that decision to be 'made at start' if desired. With decisions visible through chains, would make that clearer. Preferably allow for some days to be zero chances (eg I only do TUE-FRI to avoid the dull if different Monday mornings). Has anyone done a multi-day with a SAT or SUN ? I have done my SAT as a separate TT file Log in to reply |
