Think we've had this before (Southampton?). 1M15 & 0M15 are supposed to be joining on P10, however these just keeping flicking on F2 between: - Waiting for Joining Train xM15 - Moving at 2mph - Train xM15 in front (x being either 0 or 1, depending on which your looking at). I've tried shunting 0M15 back out the way. Abandoning TT's, shunting 0M15 back again, abandoning 0M15's TT until F2 states "Train 1M15 in front" (and not flicking between the above), but as soon as I reassign the TT to 0M15 it goes berserk again. Any ideas? My poor sleeper passengers keep being rammed into by 0M15 and I dont want them all woken up! Save attached. Ta. Post has attachments. Log in to view them. Log in to reply |

Manually reverse 0M15. While they are both correct in the save, and it looks 'wrong' that does seem to get the sim out of the loop. I have just rerun the trains in isolation 'hands off' and after a couple of 'dance cycles' they joined OK. however the Edinburgh sleepers can be prone to this across all the TT. Have you got a save from before they try joining to rerun it ? Log in to reply |

From your save (starting paused), I just told 0M15 to abandon timetable. After that, I unpaused the sim. The loco stopped in about 4 seconds, stating '1M15 is in front'. Then I paused the game, told 0M15 to run to another timetable (0M15 / 0M1500), with Edinburgh Waverley as the next location. Starting the sim, the loco instantly started to join 1M15. Edit: I just tried and it works for me as well if the sim is running all the time, so without the pausings/unpausings. Last edited: 12/10/2024 at 07:46 by Zecs Reason: None given Log in to reply |

Yeah they'll eventually join. I like it because it adds a dash of realism - "..taking a bit long to join, will they be ready on time? Might have to plan for them not being ready on time?"
