A couple of thoughts playing the very busy Carlisle simulation...

An option to advise a driver to ring back at a specific time or basically tell them to "go away" and you will get to them when you can. Particularly the case with passenger delays on and you get a train in front delayed 40 minutes for the wrong catering trolley, but no way of getting the train(s) behind around it. At the moment the most we can offset the next call is 15 minutes.

When dialling another location, sometimes the recipient doesn't answer or takes a long time - again putting the sweats on while trying to deal with multiple other issues. So an option to always answer straightaway would be useful.

And the nuclear option - put the phone off the hook!

Oh and I really don't need a pop up message and a phone call to tell me a train is ready to enter from a yard or siding!

Edit: One more I just thought of. We need an option to contact a driver and tell them we need to replace a signal, rather than just putting back and losing points which is the only current option.

The Messages tab in F3 options has some customisation about what events generate popups. I hate popups and they are disabled for all events. I don't even have a sound assigned to the telephone. It will flash until I answer it.

You can use the keyboard to answer calls quickly. 'A' answers the next call in the queue and you can then use the arrow keys + enter to select the appropriate response.

There won't be any changes to phone behaviour so you just gotta find a strategy that works for you. It is entirely likely that if you're busy then so is the other person, so the phone takes time. They have duties to attend to as well!

With regards to ringing the driver to put the signal back - Are you finding that you're clearing the signal for one train then realising a different train needs to go first? If so, you're not regulating correctly - remember you've picked a busy sim, practice will get you there.
