Soon to be released! I've been creating a December 2024 timetable over the last month or so and I'm just putting the finishing touches to it now. This will feature newly timetabled Northumberland Line services and some new York shuttles from LNER. A full freight timetable is running, making for a busy timetable. Hopefully released on Monday the 16th December. A few things I've annoyingly noticed since the initial release! You will need to amend the dwell times on your Metro's if you downloaded V1.0 of the 03:40 TT. Version 1.2 6C86 - Thruline Darlington added. Tyne and Wear Metros had dwell time (Station forward) set to 00:01:00. This should be 00:00:00 (Default). how do you get trains into Darlingon down sidings from 4b, open the GF, change the points tick the "handsignal in" but none of the sigs seem to work to signal the train forward ?

I'll rewrite it with some more detailed instructions. Log in to reply The following user said thank you: slatteryc |

6U81 Instructions Once 6U81 arrives into 4B (advise to make 6U81 non-ARS). Obtain GF 1082 and set the route and the handsignal into the Down sidings. Set the points ahead of T888 and lock them reverse. Talk 6U81 past T888 at danger and into the Down Sidings. Post has attachments. Log in to view them. next - 6C86 - it has a 2 min stop on the Up Main at Darlington ( I'm running everything manual except the metro line ) 6C86 is being chased by 3D01 at Darlington though at this point , should 6C86 not go into the loop rather than stand on the main , to be bypassed ? Log in to reply |

I believe 6C86 has a timed pause at Darlington so that 1N51 gets the route into Darlington first. 3D01 divides in P4 and by that time 6C86 is well on its way. Hopefully you're enjoying the TT. Thanks for making this, seems like a good timetable. I have noticed that 6N55 is set to 75mph instead of 60mph, not sure if it's meant to be or not

Changed them all to 60mph now in V1.4. Log in to reply |

Changed them all to 60mph now in V1.4. In real life (back in the mid-1980s, at least) it was regarded as perfectly legitimate to reclassify a train if the vehicles on it were authorised for a higher speed. At Willesden the AYM (rather than the Yard Supervisor) would let Control know but, by and large, it would be down to the signalmen en-route to decide how to regulate it. Chances are they would take no action until it showed up early in their describer as a 4 rather than a 6 (the usual change we made), as there would be no way of telling what previous boxes would be able to do with it to take advantage of the reclassification. 5S09 did not TRTS from p3 for the trip to the Forth banks until a few mins after 2T06 arrived - was wondering about that myself ... cant remember exactly what the timings were. Nice timetable by the way, certainly busy enough ! .. timetabling at benton does indeed look very tight ... up to 8 .... it keeps you jumping from one end of the sim to the other ! Log in to reply |

I noticed that some trains have custom train types even though the train type exists, for example some of the TPE 802 services have a custom, different length train despite being the same train type

i'd have been ok with it but i looked at the set lengths and it should have worked if the 5xxx set had come in and left enough room for the 2t to come in - thats what was bugging me
