Good evening, I would have posted this in the Questions/Comments thread, but unfortunately it's locked due to age. While currently running the simulation in 1980-95 mode, I've noticed the following strange behaviour. At Tivoli, when a route is set on the Up Shore line from 356 to 360 signal, points 616 are locked. After cancelling that route, a route can be set from 362 to 368. While points 616 are locked in reverse with the other route being set, it's possible to set route 356 to 360 with points 616 at the wrong position and even after clearing the route from 362 to 368, the points still remain in reverse. Only when setting points 616 to normal manually, they get locked again. I don't think it's intended to behave that way..? Edit: Oh, and by the way - is it intended that all failures/delays are set to zero when starting a game? Stephan Post has attachments. Log in to view them. Nope, that's not meant to be possible at Tivoli. Thankyou for your clear explanation of the steps involved. Mantis 41689 logged for investigation. Failures and delays at zero is intentional, because the area can get out of control quickly due to the volume of traffic and limited rerouting options, especially during peak and on Sydney Yard workstation in the 1983 timetable. So the player can deliberately set failures and delays if they want them. Log in to reply |
