hi, on the 2015 timetable, 2E84/Y50606 has arrived at Huddersfield platform 4B but is still blocking the crossover behind, thus preventing itself from departing as 2F81. it is a 4 car class 156. To be far I'd argue its a sim error with regards it it not picking a suitable stopping location inside the platform. You shouldn't have to NX that movement when the train fits comfortably. You are right with the analysis of how to resolve it though to work around it. As huddersfield is now unsupported, I havent logged a ticket for this.
