Hello all, The new Westbury Diversion Mayhem 2009 WTT has just been submitted so should be up shortly. It is an extension from the Bristol Diversion Mayhem 2009 so is compatible for chaining. This should be more intense than Westbury, especially if you turn the sliders up...just look out for the Melksham line, a lot will be needing it! Oh and also PLEASE READ THE NOTES! as there is a technique you'll need for the Melksham line slot... Any problems, comments or complaints with this TT, then please e-mail me at: james143611@blueyonder.co.uk or post on the SimSig forums. You may feely publish this to any website, edited and -uploaded (provided its a different name in order not to overwrite) onto SimSig or any other site without my permission. Log in to reply |

Thank you for the spot, just checked the ZIP to see the correct files are in there, but I uploaded the Bristol ZIP! Anyway, changed it to the correct Westbury ZIP now so should be up soon. Sorry for the error, James. Log in to reply |

Peter, I've just re-uploaded the file, I don't know how it disappeared, I changed the zip file and later saw it was off the list, so I assumed you had taken it down temporarily...still no worries it's been submitted again. Regards, James. Log in to reply |

Thank you James for the TT & to Peter for re-uploading it. Should help pass the time after I get rid of my last train later

Wow, did this with Bad Weather - seemingly continuous TCFs just west of Westbury causing havoc with trains heading towards Thingley - for some time they were backed up as far as Pewsey! Thank you very much for this! One thing that I think happened in the timetable in the morning, IIRC, that didn't seem quite right was that I think the Quarryman railtour went into Whatley Quarry and then appeared at Merehead (but I may be mistaken). Thank you very much for this!Thank you Brian, Glad you enjoyed it, was a mission to add everything in and check the TT analysis 100 times for pathing checks etc! Just popped in to look at the tour, it is booked to go in and out of Merehead Quarry in short time. It then goes to Wootton Bassett then over to Whatley and back to Westbury. The rules seem to fit with this too. If you like diversion chaos then you could try my Bristol Filton Diversion one too! I could be tempted with some other diversion TT similar to this Westbury one but set in the 80's....would that be of interest? Log in to reply |
