When running the Bristol 1985 timetable by K Sickelmore, there is a freight train timetabled to Ashton Junction. By the time it gets to Malago Vale I always seem to have forgotten it's destination and I route it down the main line. Does anybody know why the driver doesn't get on the phone, but happily continues towards Taunton without a word of complaint. Obviously the solution is not top make a cock up in the first place, though as it isn't at very busy time, and it is good fun finding a suitable reversing point and sending it back.

Thanks to K Sickelmore for a very enjoyable time-table.

I can only presume that this is due to an error in the trains timetable itself.

Looking at Bristol 1980s Based Era / Mode I cannot see a reason why it didn't question the route.

That said, I've probably missed something somewhere and might be getting this wrong - not sure really.

An omission in the simulation data - it has to be told which routes are invalid for certain locations or situations (eg valid for non-stop trains at XYZ but not those stopping there).

Thanks for replies. I will have to place a suitable sticky note when the train first appears from Standish Jn (I think.)
