When I have P515 set for the route towards Falkirk Grahamston, I have flashing yellow/double-yellow on the previous two signals and P515 showing single yellow.
BUT after a train passes PB519, P515 reverts to red, P517 drops to steady single yellow and I get a message that the train received an adverse aspect.
I don't recall this happenning for the first train I sent from Polmont to Falkirk Grahamston, but certainly getting it for every train I've sent that way recently.
My solution for now is to now the route unset from P515 towards P495 until the train has passed PB519 and wouldn't get the flashing yellows as a result.

I suffered this as well, and could not work out why I got an adverse chance of aspect. I will try your solution.
