Hi all, We now have Loader 4.6.11 and I note the "Versions" page has not been updated. What has changed in this version of the loader? The only changes where to correct the region issue introduced by Microsoft. And fixed to the defensive driving rules.

Edit: Only seems to be with defensive driving rules in operation, no issues with vanilla TTs. I can only help one person a day. Today's not your day. Tomorrow doesn't look too good either. Yes, I am getting trains running extra slowly under clear signals. To test this, I started a new game, to eliminate the problem of resuming saved games from old saves. On a new game (Peterborough --Vince's excellent 1977 Ver. 1.04 ) there were numerous instances of unusual running. For example: trains on the UF reducing from 100mph to 20 mph for the passage of Hitchin (not stopping). I can understand being defensive but inst this a bit excessive? Log in to reply |

I couldn't get any reduction in speed when passing flashing YY or flashing Y at all. The rest seem to work OK. I didn't worry too much with Peterborough 1977 since flashing aspects weren't around in 1977. I did lots of trials to make sure the reduction in speed was realistic. I guess the Simsig defaults work for most people but for me I find them "too much too late" in terms of braking but its a subjective thing. Defensive driving, of course was a concept unheard of in 1977 but I went for what I thought was realistic. As far as Hitchin is concerned, that does seem to happen sometimes - I don't know what the cause is but since its leaving the area it has little impact on other trains. Anyway I'm glad to hear you are enjoying the timetable - its nice to get some feedback although I guess no comment is a good result, meaning there's not much wrong with it. I'm pleased that a vintage timetable has achieved over 50 downloads Regards, Vince I walk around inside the questions of my day, I navigate the inner reaches of my disarray, I pass the altars where fools and thieves hold sway, I wait for night to come and lift this dread away : Jackson Browne - The Night Inside Me Last edited: 11/02/2018 at 10:53 by VInce Reason: None given Log in to reply The following user said thank you: Airvan00 |
