Even though your report may seem to add nothing useful to the way that things go forward there is still an on-going issue here.

There is a long-time bug regarding sims freezing when either the vertical or horizontal scroll bar is used with a number of reports on the bug tracker. However, no-one has ever managed to replicate the bug on a consistent basis or managed to pin things down to a particular version of operating system, loader version or particular sim.

At the moment the resolution of the problem depends on someone finding the needle in the haystack so every report including any relevant details about loader and sim versions, actions leading up to the failure etc. etc. may help in opening up the channel to put things right.

Is it possible that the Monitor is causing the problem?

A monitor with a resolution of 1900 x 1080 fills Edgehill with no Up or down movement.

As a work around, you can also use the arrow keys on the keyboard and the mouse wheel to scroll a simulation.

I mean, if you've got no scrollbars, then it's going to be difficult to click on them and freeze the sim, but I don't really see what you're getting at here?

This is why the keyboard navigation is a wonderful thing! I've started using that more, and my mouse scroll-wheel less now!
