Welcome to SimSig! Please feel free to introduce yourself/prove you're not a robot by replying below.

Get started by downloading the System Files here, and take a look at the Wiki, in particular the installation guide. You can find a list of simulations here- we recommend Royston to start with, but it's entirely up to you.

Feel free to ask questions/make comments by starting a thread in the appropriate section of the Forum (please keep this thread for introductions only).

Please be aware that your first post will be approved by a moderator, so won't appear immediately.

Enjoy!

Hello. My father worked at Paddington Station (London) for over 30 years and as a result, trains are in my "blood". Looking forward to using the software, thanks.

Newbie. Looks as if I may be the first of class 2018, looking down I note that there is an intro from a member called Malton dodger from Bridlington, it must be something about sea air and signals because that also is my place of abode. I called my username TeddyEdwards because there was such a signalman who worked at Beverley Norwood crossings in the 70s. He use to let me go into the box when I was a kid and watch.

Afternoon Teddy, are you a railwayman yourself? I'm from Hull but have a keen interest in the branch to Scarborough too!

Hi Sarco no I'm not a railman, and I didn't go to the last posts and notice all the new members of 2018 whoops, but I play a lot of Train simulator 2018 by dovetail games, I happened to be in York last week and visited the museum and noted the viewing balcony next to the signal maps and have being viewing the live maps at home on Train maps live website. I occasionally stream on twitch TS2018. I use the Scarborough branch a lot.
