Huddersfield 2017 Summer timetable, the last one operated by Huddersfield Box before its closure recently, has been uploaded and currently waiting for approval. It is offered in two formats:- 1) A Monday single-day timetable commencing at 0515 - Monday is particularly quiet overnight. 2) A five-day Tue - Sat timetable commencing at 0001. Notes :- All trains were extracted from the YE03, YG01 and YH10 WTTs and have been hand entered. It has been extensively tested in mutiple scenarios and, in disrupted mode, represents a real-challenge since platforming at Huddersfield is very tight at times. Most, but not all freight runs overnight and it is somewhat quiet then with just this and the overnight Trans-Pennine services. During testing it was noted that there were a number of errors in the WTTs. 1) On Saturdays 1F01 and 4M22 are both shown to occupy the UPL (Plat 3) at Marsden at the same time. 1F01 has been replatformed to P2. 2) There were a number of instances where two trains were booked into the bay P6 that would have exceeded the available length. These trains have been re-platformed and units booked into 5 and 6 in this timetable should all fit. Just for the record a single 2-car Class 142, 2-car 144 or single car 153 is all that can be accommodated in P5. Signals will not clear into either P5 or P6 if there is insufficient room for the train to be accommodated. 3) The unit stabling at end of day is what actually happens - I have spent some time watching the live signalling diagrams on railcam.org to ensure it is as realistic as possible. 4) A number of Class 1 trains lose 1 minute between Marsden and Huddersfield and between Marsden and to passing Diggle Junction. This could be a sim issue or a simple matter of insufficient time allowed. 5) All EDMUs after working trains will be ready early, as they usually are - it is up to you whether you run them early or hold them to their booked time. Enjoy! Vince Thoroughly enjoy this Huddersfield lest time table for the Huddersfield SIM. I have noticed that at 0537 a train 1P04 appears from Bradley Junction whereas it is described as 0422 Man Airport to Newcastle. It seems to be sent into platform 4 and then reversed leaving at 05:40. Is it a programming error or more than likely me ? Many thanks Mike CVlegg Log in to reply |

Several overnight TransPennine services take the route via Victoria, Rochdale, Hebden Bridge and Brighouse, then use the curve to Bradley Wood Jn to reach Huddersfield. This is done to maintain their driver's route knowledge, should trains need to be diverted that way for engineering works or if the usual route via Standedge is blocked for any reason. So far this has happened to 1P71, 5J88 and 4M96. I've had to abandon each train's TT to get them moving. I don't recall it happening before so could the sim update be the cause? I've attached a save. This one is a timetable release thread, and your announcement for Marylebone was in a bug report thread - this seems likely to produce very confused threads!
