Hi, Had a points failure on the Newton Heath Loco Siding exit where points could not be proved normal. When a train from Vitriol came up, I keyed all the points from 712 to 710 normal. This also set the catch points on the Dean Lane chord. However, 712-710 still doesn't prove. Similarly for 714 (NH1). Is this right? If the catch points and all the signals on the branch are on, it should be inherently safe. Thanks Jamie Jamie S (JAMS) Log in to reply |

If I have read your question right, you've locked the route up but there is still not electrical proving? Without that proving, it'll still show as failed. You'll have to talk the train past. The Welsh contingent. Aron, or Ar to mates. Also known as 88E or ThatManCalledAr. Log in to reply |

We need a save game to see exactly what the issue is.

Hi, See attached. Neither NH2 nor the Up from Moston will prove across Dean Lane junction even with all points keyed and the Dean Lane catch points active. Thanks Jamie Post has attachments. Log in to view them. Jamie S (JAMS) Log in to reply |

You have no normal detection on 6821 points, so no 712/714 will never prove until detection is restored.

If you take a look at the older era of the sim, that should make it apparent why such protection is in place James Log in to reply |

All you've done is ask the points to move normal. Maybe they did move, maybe they didn't. We don't know, and neither does the interlocking. So we don't know if it's safe at all!
