I am playing the 2009 timetable and as such I have a ECS which is meant to run Huntington to Huntingdon via Connington, now I've ensured Connington South Junction Reverse is selected as the point to which said train should automatically change ends to head towards London however it doesn't.

I have to tell the driver to change direction manually, is this not a bug that the team may or may not be aware of?

No bug! MIR! Trains reverse correctly at Connington S JN REVERSE on the Slow line.

May be the timetable is incorrect or you have directed it to the wrong reversing location. Please supply details of the train involved.

It's 5P85 and as it departs Huntingdon on the Slow line, it ought to be in the right place - do I actually need to change anything with the location as it just says Connington South Junction Reverse at the moment, do I need to tell it to use the slow line or the fast line?

Yes!
5P85's timetable 2nd line should read Connington South Jn, the 3rd line "Connington S JN REVERSE". and tell it to use the Slow line.
