Greetings from Australia. I’ve just joined up and look forward to getting into some of the sims. Many years ago I enjoyed SigCent but life happened and I kind of got detached from these interesting signalling simulations. Now the leading question is, which sim is best for a newbie? I started with Horsham, followed by Portsmouth. Have a look at the link below. It lists the various sims available, starting with those suitable for a beginner. https://www.SimSig.co.uk/Wiki/Show?page=usertrack:areainfo Best of luck Bugsy Everything that you make will be useful - providing it's made of chocolate. Personally I started with Southampton, because it was my local area at the time. It's a *very* old sim so there are a few quirks you have to get used to like bugs and missing features which are in most other sims, but it's still an enjoyable sim with just enough challenge to keep you interested while also being reasonably beginner-friendly. I personally always found Royston a little too easy, but then I would after having played Southampton! A more modern donationware sim with perhaps a similar level of challenge could be Brighton. I haven't played it for a while though, so take that with a pinch of salt! If you're willing to pay money for your first sims then Horsham and Portsmouth both sound like good choices; I'd add Salisbury to that list. When I started with SimSig, I started on Carlisle Sim but thats because I knew the layout regardless and kept practicing etc, then moved on to Sheffield and Stafford. Although the preference is to there own. Royston is nice little starter to get used to and if you feel comfortable move up another sim that has a little challenge..
