Just had a look at the save. If you open you train list (F2), you'll see SP31 is still in sim. It's actually still on the section between Joppa Jn and Tarago. That is the reason you can't get a Train Order. Once SP31 drops off sim, you can request a Train Order for 1223.

That said, your issue has exposed a sim fault - SP31 should show last location Joppa Jn on the F2 screen. Fixed in V1.1.

Lastly, why do you have 1223 turning out onto the branch on a shunt signal, if you don't mind me asking? Hope you're enjoying the sim! :-)

Thanks, I should have held 1223 on the main line. Will look out for what is still on the line in future.

I am very much enjoying the new Aussie challenges!

It seems there is a data error in the Moss Vale interlocking (sim. version 1.1).

Train 2124 called waiting at 152.6 on the up main, but on the panel, it was stopped at 155.4 and occupying 158_2A1T.
155_4AT and 152_6AT were clear and 150_2AT occupied.

I may have one... (I'm on the updated loaded version.)

Got 3MB7 at a stand at CA30 signal bound for Moss Vale.

The previous train went down the Stockinbingal branch and as such the overlap is set that way.

3MB7 is now sitting at CA30 with the overlap locked in towards Stockinbingal with no way it seems of swinging it back towards Jindalee. It just says 'no overlap available'. There are no other trains in the area to affect it.

Any help?!

One more (sorry!) – with a route set from MV69 to MV79 at Moss Vale, the overlap seems to ‘jump’ over Yarrawa Street crossing (see attached image).

Played about 2 sim hours on the new version.

I saw multiple instances of TDs getting "stranded" and not stepping with the train. One for sure was from the Up Relief at Moss Vale on the Underra line. Another was on one of the long simple double track sections on the right side.

Known fault. Mantis 21363 to name just one. Unfortunately, there is no workaround available at this stage other than to remove the train.

Known issue. This is a "lesser of 2 evils" situation. It's the only way we could fix the previous rendering issue of green blue green over that section of track. The "Show overlaps" is really only a player aid so, unless a full fix is found, we've had to settle with that. It looks wrong but it is not prototypical anyway and at least it shows the full extent of the overlap, albeit with a bit missing in the middle.

This issue has been added to the "Known faults" section of the manual.

Was able to reproduce MV62 stepping error. Fixed in V1.2.

Need more specific information for other areas where the error exists. Please quote signal numbers and/or locations and provide a game save where possible.

Thank you for the feedback.

When points PHN105A (left end of harden Station) are reversed, the overlap and occupied TC illuminations bleed as if a train has been authorised to pass a signal at danger with no route set.

Also marulan boral sidings might need to be a bit longer. I've observed a couple of train disappear off the sim as they reach the exit before the rear of the train has cleared the last track circuit.

I have been able to reproduce this fault with the save & have reported it in Mantis 21424. It will be resolved in the next release.

I intend to live forever. So far so good

Another. Passenger trains using platform 2 at Yass Jct report wrong platform if booked into P1. The manual says they should use 2 whenever possible even if booked into a different platform. Same at gouldbourn.

Train TM72 1040 Tahmoor Colliery - Kembla routed via Inspection Road and North Fork calls up from MV17 sig with an incorrect route, stating booked via Moss Vale Jct. If I ran the train towards Moss Vale there would be no road with sufficient length to be able to get in clear behing a signal to then go towards Calwalla. I got him on the move towards the north fork by instructing him to bypass Moss Vale Jct., but I've now encountered further problems as I can't clear MV26 sig towards Calwalla (points locked normal by another route).

Another problem I've had is with trains that terminate at Moss Vale then shunt to the Up Refuge before shunting back out to Pfm.1 claiming they are wrongly routed when signalled from MV74 towards the Up Refuge.

Edit - I set TM72 back behind MV17 sig, cancelled the route from MV17 - NV26 (the overlap of which was locking the North Jn points normal) then backset routes MV25 - 34.6 followed by MV17 - MV26 to get the overlaps to fall correctly and TM72 is now on the move. I do now recall reading somewhere in the forum that it is wise to backset routes because of the way the overlaps can stitch you up.
Regards,

Phil.

Really enjoying the Australian Sims.

Have a general problem with trains from Boral Marulan. They are all timetabled to stop at Medway Junction, but they never do. Where are they meant to stop? The problem is they just carry on up the main line, and end up very early at Moss Vale, with the timetable still showing the next stop as Medway.

Cheers
Ross
