I understand that there is information in the Wiki about 'Possessions' Would someone kindly tell me where I can find it. I've had a quick look, but to no avail. I also need to know where to find the point numbers. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance Bugsy Everything that you make will be useful - providing it's made of chocolate. Regarding the point numbers, I did open F11 whilst playing the Peterborough sim and found the list of point numbers, but didn't play around with it. If I click on a specific number, will it indicated where the points are to be found? Edit: It would appear that the location of the points isn't given. I can't find anything on the wiki for possessions. If you open a blank sim, and fail the normal and reverse detection on a point end, you'll soon find them. bugsy in post 111459 said:What specifically about possessions in Peterborough? bugsy in post 111459 said: The 22XX ones are at Biggleswade. Apart from that they are generally numbered from south to north. So Sandy is 110X, St.Neots is 112X, Huntingdon is 114X, Connington is 115X (south) and 116X (north), Stilton GF is 117X, Fletton and Peterborough are 119X to 124X, New England is 1259 and 126X, Werrington is 127X, Helpston is 128X, Tallington 129X, and Stoke 131X. Peterborough East is 138X. As a more detailed example, at Huntingdon 1140 is DF to DS, 1141 is US to UF, 1142 is platform 1, 1143 is the former siding behind platform 3, 1144 is the down sidings further north, 1145 is DS to DF, 1146 is the US turnout, 1147 is DS catch points, 1148 is DS to US, and 1149 is DF catch points. At Connington 1158 is the south end of the loop, 1159 is the main-to-main facing crossover, 1161-1163 are the US to DS ladder, and 1166 is the down convergence just before Holme LC. Crossovers always have the A end at the south and the B end at the north. [If anyone wants to add this to the wiki, feel free.] Log in to reply |

Whenever I get useful information like this, I copy it into a new Word document, name the document appropriately and save it in a SimSig folder on my computer for future reference.
