The development team lead this time by James Pedrick (Pedroathome) are pleased to announce the release of two new simulations, Manchester South, and Stockport. Manchester South covers the SCC of the same name, and Macclesfield signalbox. Stockport covers the five boxes which control the area around Stockport station. Even better they can both be chained into the existing Manchester Simulations in various combinations, giving a potential six way chain! Both are priced at £15 and can be found in the shop Stockport Shop and Manchester South Shop. For a limited period both can be purchased together. That's good news just before Christmas. Compliments of the season to the developers. I'll confess to disappointment that it's all current day stuff, without options for earlier eras. I'd intended to do a 1989 timetable for both simulations, but that's impossible for Manchester South without the loops at Handforth and Wilmslow. Have to see what's doable for the BR era before making a purchase. Last edited: 14/12/2018 at 13:02 by whatlep Reason: None given Log in to reply |

One thing that applies to both sims - the manual mentions 'scale of problems' settings when loading, however this isn't an option in either sim when starting one.
There's the right way, the wrong way and the railway. Log in to reply |

According to the General Information page of the SimSig Wiki, the method of using AB on SimSig is shown in the instructions for each relevant simulation. I cannot find it in the Stockport Wiki. I haven't run AB for some time, so until it appears in the notes, which other sim's notes do they appear in, please? Log in to reply |

The wiki is wrong in that regard, details can be found in the Absolute Block manual.
