Having looked at various sources I belive the train is 8Y85 and is a Conductor Rail treatment train operated by a MPV, I belive it is a MPV as according to the Kent, Sussex and Wessex SA, Conductor Rail treatment trains operated by a MPV use the headcode series of 8Yxx, if it was Top and Tailed loco hauled then the headcode would be in the 3Yxx series.
Boldly going forward 'cause we can't find reverse. Boldly going forward, still can't find reverse. Boldly going forward, and things are getting worse!.
