Dunno if this is the same issue, but I've often been getting the error "Invalid overlap selection signal" in the Messages window when attempting to set routes where part of the route is also part of a swung overlap (ie when setting routes from 268 and 269 to 274, and routes from 58 — don't take these all as gospel; it might not exhaustively be correct, but it's roughly routes of this type at least). I've also had one or two crashes but given I'm using wine to run SimSig on Linux I always take crashes with a pinch of salt; don't know if this is related however, and I certainly didn't have any crashes recently when running Exeter on the same wine version.
