If one train from the Up Midland is following another closely Altofts Junction, it will receive an adverse change of aspect when the preceding train passes WK1266. This happens because CD1286 briefly steps up to a single yellow as WK1266 has a route set onwards, followed by the route from WK1266 dropping out and CD1286 dropping back to red. I note that the manual claims the "unusual protection" applies when CD986 -> CD1268 is set, but CD1268 gives a free yellow on this route, and the restricted red occurs when CD982 -> CD1268 is set. This had been found late in the testing stages prior to release and should be fixed with the next patch release. (Mantis 0024340)

(The control is implemented with respect to the lie of the points across the junction). Log in to reply |

As noted by Danny, restricted red with route from CD982, rather than CD986. (Restricted condition is on CD2444 points at Normal.)

The data was slightly in correct and has now been fixed. Should be released tonight/tomorrow morning. In order to get a proceed aspect on 1268 then either 244 points need to be normal or 108 track circuit occupied or 1266 needs to be at proceed.
