Hi all, It happened to me a few times, that I clicked a TD in an approach berth right at the moment it steps to the first signal - during the split second that the TD is shown in both berths. Clicking the approach berth at exactly that moment leads to an access violation. This happened to me at both Ardwick Jn and Philips Park West Jn entry points. I have not observed it for others but cannot rule out that it happens there as well. The message: Internal error: Exception in PaintBoxMouseDown (EAccessViolation: Access violation at address 004CAD59 in module 'SimSigLoader.exe'. Read of address 0000008C) Screenshot attached, showing train 2H89 entering from Ardwick Jn while I clicked the TD in the APPR berth. Post has attachments. Log in to view them. This has already been flagged up as a core code issue and is being investigated

On an approach berth there's an instant where the TD is in both berths (6M38 at Church Fenton in my case). Clicking on the "innermost" TD causes the exception.Almost exactly the same on W Yorks if this is any help.If you can find exactly what causes the exception, and can reliably repeat it, that's what's needed to be able to find the overarching issue. Whether it is repeatable probably is more a test of your reactions! Log in to reply |
