Hi everyone, on the Liverpool Street map, if I take over from the ARS and manually route a train into the wrong platform, how do I know what the new headcode of the service will be? cheers Log in to reply |

It should tell you in the timetable:- click on the train description and either it will appear in the message box at the top, or you’ll receive a pop up in screen with the timetable included. With the Liverpool Street entry there will be activities listed; usually a “Next:” which will tell you what headcode(s) to interpose. Log in to reply |

I assume the train has become 'non-ARS' i.e. its headcode is purple. You can enable ARS again by right-clicking the headcode after the train arrives at the platform > make train ARS. Does it change its headcode then? Note that ARS will usually route the train back to its normal route on the first possible crossover if you let it route the outbound train. In case you have a conflict with arriving traffic, it may be possible to get it out quicker by using a different crossover e.g. one before or after Bethnal Green. In that case it makes sense to make it non-ARS again after it changed headcode, so you can route it manually. Have you looked at the train list (F2)? As long as it's the only train in the platform it will identify the train it thinks it's got. (It can get confusing if there was already another service there!) If it's the incoming ID look up the details in F4 for N:<headcode>

Its when there is disruption and the planned platform is already occupied so I have had to manually route-set to a free platform, I think I have figured it out using the timetable view (f2) thanks everyone
