It has indeed gone live and for the most part has worked very well. However what they don't mention is that the current section is not "highly complex." It is just a short 5 station section with a terminus and sidings at one end. It also opened a year later than planned.

Sections due to open later in the year are the more complicated areas surrounding critical junctions in the city area - namely Praed Street Junction (between Paddington and Edgware Road), Edgware Road and Baker Street. Currently these are still suffering some issues during testing.
