Based on when I've previously played SimSig on a Windows tablet, I found the interface to be quite difficult with the small hotbox you have to click on things in SimSig. While quite a small tablet, larger than many tablets or phones out there today.

I found out users enough to play something like Coventry, keeping up with routesetting on the touch screen interface

I can imagine how hard having used a touchscreen laptop before. It would be nice though in the future to see a small sim on a one-off port to android such as Royston or drain, it would make our bus journeys more enjoyable.

I have seen a full size desktop monitor with touchscreen and even that was not really suited to the small hit areas required for SimSig. If you think of other uses for touchscreens, everything I can think of uses big, chunky buttons for this reason.

maybe that's where a Cathcart style controls would work well. an example of a way is how pc-rail do their earls court sim
