Went to one of my two local ticket offices and one staff member didn't know anything about it but luckily the other staff member was more on the ball so now got all my tickets refunded without any fuss.

Although one thing puzzles me, they didn't ask for my payment card but just my Initials, Surname, First line of address and Post Code to process the refund - I've never known that before?

It will all depend on how you purchased the tickets in the first place and what details are attached to them. I've had before at other places refunds carried out without the original payment method being available.

For anyone who has tickets with GWR, their refund form, including for advanced tickets, is located here
