Many thanks to all who hosted and organised this chain. Thoroughly enjoyed my 4 2 hour sessions across a variety of workstations.

Well done to everyone involved and to the amount of organising this must have taken, and thank you for letting me have a few shifts at the last minute. :)

I was impressed at the quality of safety critical comms on Teamspeak. I know NR are looking for signallers... think they have a few candidates on here

So no score for Wolves then? As this was advertised as part of the chain but doesn't seem to be reflected in the scores above for some reason???

Thanks for the hosts!

Did a spell on Saltley North to kick the event off.
Followed by two quiet hours on Coventry
Spent a couple of hours in New Street this morning on North Pannel
Had a few hours off
Followed by Saltley Central and a interesting time on New street North again.
Finished with a shift on Coventry and then Bletchley Pannel putting trains into the depot.

And to add to the fun... we had 1 hour late trains going back and forth between Birmingham and Northampton! I'm sure Rugby has been fun as well, I heard some occasional news from the South that you had some trouble there, kindly passed to us by either the hosts or the Coventry signaller who was in-between.

I certainly enjoyed my early morning turns on new street, Rugby and Watford. maybe this should become an annual thing in addition to conventional meets?

I'd like to add my thanks too. A very enjoyable session and a huge thanks to the hosts and Nath for sorting out all the panels.

Agree with JC92, would be good to see this as an annual thing.

Next you'll be complaining that Rugby North was run but wasn't advertised.

In seriousness, with there being the potential for up to 11 different signallers, with 4 different hosts overseeing the sim, if 1 person clicked on the Oxley Approach berth, this could have taken the entire chain down for at least 15 mins while the hosts had to reboot Wolves (and potential reloading snapshots onto all other sims, requiring the chaining to be reconfigured) then everyone reconnecting and resuming. Yes it could only happen the once. But what if every sim operator hit that approach berth just the once, we could have been running a hour behind by 0800. It was decided that it wasn't worth the risk. Rugby North also provided 2 panels, not 1, and had the added bonus of being able to be put into ARS if there was no one available to cover it (which from the roster was only required on 2 out of 11 sessions)

May I also add my thanks to all those involved in setting this up, making sure everything was so well organized and also those online at all times to assign workstations, shift duties and even guide and help newer signallers with their panel.
I know it's surely been a tremendous effort and I'm really glad that although the Peterborough Meet became an impossibility, yesterdays "virtual" meet was fantastic.
I really hope this can become a recurring type of meet. I think it also allowed a lot of people who couldn't have assisted the physical meet, the chance connect, chat and sim.

Once again, a HUGE thanks to all involved in the organization.

So, I did Rugby Nth from 12:45 - 18:00 GMT with a half hour break and have to say with James and Karl (I think) as hosts i was made to feel very welcome and really enjoyed myself. Listening via TS too means I may now join another multiplayer now I have that on my system too.

Also, a big thank you to ALL who were involved in organising something that was very timely in the current crisis. As it has been suggested that this current lockdown appears to be ongoing for a while maybe another date could be set up in the future. Appreciate many of us remain key workers but I would be happy to support another date.

Good job everyone anyway :-)

For those who are new to joining sessions, you can subscribe to a user so that you receive information through email when that user has posted a planned host/session.

This will give you maximum opportunity to take part in available sessions if you have access to that sim.
