EXE Simulations and Timetables 01/06/2020 at 15:04 #127315

Hi all, one question that's being on my mind recently, regarding Timetables on EXE sims is 'What's the best way of making a timetable for an EXE simulation?'
I've recently played Southampton and Gloucester and the latest timetable is quite out of date, and seen as not much (as far as I'm aware?) has really changed on both sims, I started looking at the Timetable editor, and noticed you can Import, just like you can on the loader sims, but on the EXEs it's CSV compared to XML.
Is it possible to turn import the NR CIF Schedule into XML as normal, but convert said XML into CSV and import it in to the EXE sim, or would that not work?
Could it be that, it's easier to do it all manually?

Regards
Hayden.

I don't know what the required CSV format was, so I can't easily answer that.

There's a program called ConvData that lets you write the timetable in a key=value format - if you're any good at scripting you can convert the CIF to this - and then convert it to the old WTT format used by EXEs.

Or the file format is available if you want to do a direct conversion.

Thankyou for the suggestion.

There's been a major remodelling of Bromsgrove; the wires were extended there and the station expanded to accommodate Cross City trains terminating. It's likely to be difficult to include these services on the simulation as it is.

Worcester Parkway has also opened, but that's less of a problem.
